The work of the “Patient Support Fund” is governed by a mechanism of absolute transparency and it is supervised by a committee consisting of a chairman, a secretary, a treasurer and 4 members who work together to ensure the best application of the fund’s business.
The funds are disbursed directly by checks to the accounts of the hospitals in the banks by order exchange signed by the chairman and the treasurer jointly, after the approval of the rest of the members.
The committee shall submit to the governing body a quarterly report that shows the names of the beneficiaries, the amount paid and the place of treatment.
The mechanism includes a condition that ensures checking the financial situation of the beneficiary and his eligibility for assistance. The “Patient Support Fund” offers assistance to needy people and does not discriminate in its grants between one person and another.

About Us
“Esham” Association is a charitable, non-political and non-profit organization.
It was established in 2008 with the aim of development and health awareness, and to provide medical care and hospitalization for patients in need, and to ensure the training to workers in both the health and social fields.
The organization was licensed (knowledge and experience) under the number “619/2008” after submitting to the relevant authorities “the Statute and Rules of Procedure”.
A number of specialized committees stem from the organization including: “Committee of health and welfare” “Patient Support Fund” which objectives are identified by:
- Assisting patients in need through covering a part of or the entire hospital bill differences for the “Ministry of Public Health” or the “National Fund for Social Security”.
- Providing medical consultations and examinations related to certain diseases.
- Providing drugs for chronic diseases and contributing in providing the treatments.
- Providing medical supplies and equipment to the needy patients who are receiving treatment at home (beds, artificial breathing equipment, wheelchairs, etc …).
- Conducting training courses for workers in the health and social fields.
- Running awareness seminars for health prevention.
- Organizing first aid courses
